Motorola (now owned by Lenovo) at the IFA event announced the Moto 360 2nd generation and the Moto 360 sport. The 2nd Gen Moto 360 smartwatch will come in two sizes options for men & women. Moto 360 Sport is a different kind for fitness enthusiasts.
The Moto 360 2nd gen comes in two variants one for women (42mm) sporting 1.37 inch screen with 360 x 325 pixels resolution and the other for men (46mm) with a screen size of 1.56 inches supporting 360 x 330 pixels resolution.
This Moto Smartwatch is powered by snapdragon 400 1.2GHz quad core processor running Android wear with 512MB RAM and 4Gigs of internal storage. The new Moto 360 2nd Gen gets power from a 300 mAh battery (42mm) and 400 mAh battery (46mm).
The 360 2nd Gen is water resistant – IP67 certified and comes with dual mics, light sensor, heart rate sensor, Wi-Fi, vibration, haptic engine, gyro sensor and Bluetooth. There is no NFC and built in speaker is missing.
The Moto 360 sport is also packed with almost same features but it comes with AnyLight Hybrid display that offers better view-ability under direct sunlight. The 360 Sport comes with built in GPS that can track your pace, speed and distance traveled.
