Motorola along with the SD 820 powered Moto Z also launched a cheaper variant the Moto Z Play that houses the snapdragon 625 chipset and carries a price tag of Rs. 24,999. The Z Play also supports Moto Mods.

Moto Z Play features and specifications

This handset houses the qualcomm snapdragon 625 octa core processor clocked at 2GHz with Adreno 506 GPU. Moto Z Play comes with 5.5 inch sAMOLED screen supporting 1080p resolution. The screen comes with gorilla glass protection.

There is 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM and 2TB of external micro SD card support. Now this handset comes with single SIM / dual SIM options. Android marshmallow runs the show. Handset weight is 165 grams and thickness is 6.9mm.

Moto Z Play launched in India for Rs. 24,999

Rear camera is of 16MP resolution with LED flash support (dual tone) and front camera is a 5MP shooter. Moto Z Play supports 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, WiFi (dual band), 3 mics, front speaker and finger print sensor.  Moto Z Play houses a 3510 mAh battery (turbo charging supported).

The handset will be made available on Flipkart and Amazon from 17th October in White and Black color options for Rs. 24,999.
