Here is another reason to buy the recently launched Moto M handset, the Nougat update. Yes Moto M will soon get Android 7 Nougat update and the same has been confirmed by the company via a tweet on the launch day itself.
Moto M is MediaTek Helio P15 2.2 GHz octa core powered coupled with Mali T860 GPU. This handset comes in two variants with 3GB RAM / 32GB ROM and with 4GB RAM / 64GB ROM. Price starts from Rs. 15,999.
As far as the specifications are concerned there is nothing great and the price is also on the higher side. The 3050 mAh battery should give very good battery life. I will need to do a review to actually know how the primary camera with 16MP resolution performs. Screen (IPS LCD) is 5.5 inch with 1080p resolution, nothing outstanding.
4G VoLTE is supported and it is the minimum requirement in India thanks to Jio. Not sure if there will be many takers for the Moto M and if anyone would want to buy it cause of the assured Android Nougat 7.x update.
Moto M is available on Flipkart.
