Motorola today launched the 3rd generation smartphone – the Moto G 3rd Gen with 8GB and 16GB storage variant for ₹11,999 and ₹12,999 respectively. This handset is using the Snapdragon 410 quad core processor running Lollipop.

The Moto G 3rd Gen sails on Android Lollipop 5.1 and houses the qualcomm snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) 64 bit quad core processor with Adreno 306 GPU. There are two variants – 1GB RAM + 8GB storage and 2GB RAM + 16GB storage. It makes sense to go for the 2GB / 16GB version.

There is micro SD card support too. This new Moto G 3rd Gen smartphone is 6.1mm thick (11.6mm thick in the center) and weight is 155 grams. This dual SIM (GSM +  LTE) phone with 4G LTE support, sports a 5 inch screen with corning gorilla glass 3 protection and 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.

When it comes to the camera the new Moto G is packed with 13MP AF camera on the rear with dynamic CCT dual LED flash and a 5MP camera on the front. Rear camera can shoot FHD videos. Additional features are 4G, 3G, GPS with GLONASS / BeiDou, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0. Phone is water resistant – IPX7-rating.

The SAR value is 0.905W/kg head and 1.069 W/kg body. There is a non-removable battery of 2470 mAh capacity.

The Moto G 3rd Gen is listed on Flipkart for ₹11,999 – 1GB RAM / 8GB storage and ₹12,999 – 2GB RAM / 16GB storage. The sale will begin at midnight.
