Motorola had announced the 2nd generation Moto E handsets. The Moto E (2nd Gen) will be available in both 3G and 4G variant. The price of 4G is around $149.99 that comes to approx Rs. 9,200. For now Motorola (Lenovo) will be launching the Moto E 3G (2nd Gen) via Flipkart pretty soon for Rs. 6,999.

The 2nd Gen Moto E is slightly different from the 1st Gen. The 1st Gen came with Snapdragon 200 dual core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. The Moto E 2nd Gen will be powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad core processor. The new Moto E also comes with a front camera that was missing on the previous model.

It seems like the new Moto handset also includes an auto focus camera of 5MP resolution packed on the rear. Screen is with same qHD resolution but slightly bigger is size (4.5 inches). This handset comes loaded with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage – the older Moto E came with 1GB RAM and 4GB storage.

Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. This new smartphone gets power from an improved battery mAh of 2390 as compared to 1980 on the 1st Gen Moto E. And yes, the new Moto is running Android 5 Lollipop.

So watch out for the Moto E 2nd Gen 3G handset coming soon on Flipkart for Rs. 6,999.
