Motorola India today launched the Moto E 2nd generation smartphone. This 2nd Gen quad core powered Moto E with 3G support will be available on Flipkart from midnight for Rs. 6,999. The 1st Gen Moto E will continue selling for Rs. 5,999.

In case you are planning to buy the Moto E handset it makes sense going in for the 2nd generation version. This dual SIM (Micro SIM) handset is running Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage. There is 32GB max micro SD card support. This smartphone is powered by 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 quad core processor coupled with Adreno 302 GPU.

The 4.5 inch IPS touch screen supports qHD i.e. 960 x 540 pixels resolution. Screen is protected with corning Gorilla glass. There is a 5MP auto focus camera on the rear and a front camera of VGA resolution. Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS with GLONASS, dual MIC’s for noise cancellation and Bluetooth.

Moto E 2nd generation launched

The Moto E handset with water resistant coating gets power from a 2390 mAh battery that gives up to 24 hours of mixed usage on a single charge. It will be available on Flipkart for Rs. 6,999.

The 4G version will also be launched, though the company has not giving any specific dates.
