Motorola will be launching a new handset on 10th March 2015 in India. They have not specifically mentioned the model name but taking clue from the recent announcements it most likely will be the 2nd generation Moto E with 3G support.
The Moto E 2nd Gen with 4G and with 3G support was recently announced. 4G version is priced at $149.99 (Rs. 9K) and the 3G version could be priced at Rs. 6,999. The 2nd Gen Moto E is using a qualcomm snapdragon 200 quad core processor with Adreno 302 GPU as compared with dual core processor on the first Moto E handset.
The 2nd Gen Moto E will be running Android Lollipop out of the box with 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and 32GB micro SD support. The handset weighs about 145 grams with battery. A 5MP auto focus camera is packed on the rear and there is a front camera too of VGA resolution.
Touch screen is 4.5 inches supporting 960 x 540 pixels resolution. Screen comes with corning gorilla glass 3 protection and with anti smudge coating. Key features are 3G, GPS with GLONASS, 2G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The 2390 mAh battery will easily last for a day with normal usage.
