Microsoft Lumia 640 and the 640 XL is already listed on their official website with coming soon status. Most likely these handset will be launched in India tomorrow that is on 7th April 2015. The 640 XL comes with two options with dual SIM 3G or dual SIM 4G support.

The Lumia 640 is a dual SIM handset powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor (qualcomm snapdragon 400). It comes with a 0.9MP wide angle front camera and an 8MP AF rear camera. There is 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and 128GB micro SD card support. It is running WP 8.1 with Lumia Denim over a 5 inch IPS clearblack screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.

Key features are 3G, 2G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS. The Microsoft Lumia 640 gets power from a 2500 mAh battery delivering up to 20 hours of talk time on 3G networks.

The Lumia 640 XL will be available in 3G or 4G LTE options. This is dual SIM handset powered by qualcomm snapdragon 400 quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. It is running WP8.1 over a 5.7 inch clearblack IPS screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.

Microsoft Lumia 640 and 640 XL

There is 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and micro SD support of up to 128GB. This handset also includes a 13MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5MP wide angle secondary camera. Key features are 4G / 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The 3000 mAh battery gives talk time of up to 24 hours on 3G networks.

We will have to wait for the official launch, hopefully they will carry an affordable price tag.
