The X335 from Micromax is a stylish phone with dual SIM support. This curvy handset looks more like a high end phone with a 2.8 inch touchscreen display and 3 physical buttons at the bottom. Micromax X335 in reality is a basic phone with stylish looks for just under Rs. 2,500.

With the X335 you will be able to use two GSM SIM’s simultaneously with dual standby mode. You can use built in FM for live entertainment or access net using GPRS connection. Well this is a simple phone and there is no Wi-Fi, basically made for making and receiving calls.

The X335 with a thickness of 13.1mm is available in choco brown, green and blue colours, comes with a 2.8 inch TFT touchscreen supporting 65K colours on 240 by 320 pixels resolution. Yes there is a primary camera of VGA resolution but it’s better to ignore that as it is really no good.

Other features included are Bluetooth, SD card up to 4 GB, WAP browser, email and media player that can play MP3, WAV, MIDI and some video formats. This handset comes loaded with proprietary OS.

Micromax X335 stylish dual SIM

The battery mAh is unknown but Micromax claims that on a full charge the handset can last for about 250 hours (10 days) in standby mode and users can get a talktime of up to 4 hours.

Micromax X335 price in India is Rs. 2,200 with 1 year warranty. The GPRS and camera features are just no good, camera quality is too low and GPRS is useless (too slow) that too via the WAP browser. It seems that these two features were just added for increasing the features list. Anyway those buying this handset will be mostly interested in the phone functions (calling / receiving) and they will hardly use the other features. Not to forget, resistive touchscreen is an added advantage.
