Micromax today launched the Canvas Sliver 5 which actually looks like a re-branded Wiko Highway Pure. Wiko also claims that Highway Pure is the world’s slimmest 4G phone. Micromax Canvas Sliver 5 is priced at Rs. 17,999.

Wiko Highway Pure is slim and light weight. Weight is 98 grams and thickness is 5.1 mm same as Sliver 5. It is powered by 1.2GHz quad core processor – using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset.  This handset sports a 4.8 inch screen with 720p resolution (10 point multi touch). It’s an AMOLED screen with corning gorilla glass 3 protection.

The Highway Pure comes with an 8MP AF camera using the SONY sensor and there is a 5MP front facing camera. The handset is running KitKat with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. There is no external card support. Micromax Canvas Sliver 5 is in fact running Lollipop. Now both these handsets come with a single Nano SIM slot supporting 4G.

There is accelerometer, light, magnetic and proximity sensors. The 2000 mAh battery gives a talk time of up to 13 hours on 3G networks.

The specs are identical, so Micromax Canvas Sliver 5 in-fact is re-branded Wiko Highway Pure smartphone.
