The 1.7GHz octa core powered Micromax Canvas Knight A350 that was launched a few months back is back in the news, this time with the KitKat update. Yes the A350 now runs Android KitKat 4.4.2 right out of the box.

The Canvas Knight A350 is currently selling for Rs. 22,950 for the White and Golden colour option and for Rs. 20,999 for the Black version. There are few handsets that are also using the MediaTek octa core processor and priced cheaper than the Knight A350, however with KitKat update the A350 now has an edge over its competitor and for now it is the only octa core running KitKat.

The Micromax A350 houses the 1.7GHz Octa Core processor (MT6592T) with Mali 450 GPU. This dual SIM handset sports a 5 inch screen with Full HD resolution. There is 2GB on-board DDR2 RAM and 32GB storage (25GB user space). There is no micro SD card slot.

As for the camera there is a 16MP Auto Focus with LED flash placed on the rear with 1080p video recording capabilities and 8MP fixed focus on the front. Additional features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. A350 comes with magnetic, light, gyro, accelerometer and proximity sensors.

Micromax Canvas Knight A350 now with KitKat Android 4.4.2

The 2350 mAh battery that the Canvas Knight A350 houses gives a talk time of up to 7.5 hours. Micromax A350 is now available starting from Rs. 20,999. The Alcatel OneTouch Idol X+ handset that is much cheaper will also be getting the KitKat update soon.
