Micromax has started teasing about their next handset that will be launched on 6th May 2015. They have posted an image on twitter with an outline similar to what Samsung did with its S6 Edge. No details have been revealed but most likely they could launch their first 4G LTE supported handset the Micromax canvas Knight 2 E471.
The Micromax Canvas Knight 2 E471 details had already been leaked. There is no official confirmation about this and it is still a rumor. The Knight 2 could be powered by 1.5GHz Octa Core processor. It will sport a 5 inch screen – its AMOLED screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. This handset will be protected with corning gorilla glass 3 placed on the front as well on the rear.
Micromax E471 will be running Android Lollipop out of the box with 2GB on board RAM and 16GB storage. The handset is 6.3mm thick and also includes a 13MP auto focus camera with LED flash on the rear and a 5MP front facing fixed focus camera.
Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The battery mAh is unknown. Micromax has recently launched the Canvas Spark for under Rs. 5,000. The next Micromax handset could most likely be the Micromax E471 Canvas Knight 2 with 4G LTE support.
