Micromax has partnered with MediaTek and they will soon launch series of mid to premium range 4G enabled smartphones in India. For now the company has announced the Micromax Canvas Fire 4G that will be using the MT6735 processor.

Micromax will also launch 3 new 4G devices in September and 5 more devices before Diwali. They will also launch a handset using the Helio chipset and will be the first one to launch such a device in India.

The Canvas Fire 4G as mentioned is powered by MediaTek MT6735M 64 bit quad core (ARM cortex A53) processor with 4G LTE support (1800 + 2300). This handset sports a 4.5 inch screen with FWVGA resolution. The handset will be running Lollipop 5.1 with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage along with micro SD card support.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 4G will come loaded with 5MP AF camera on the rear and a 2MP fixed focus camera on the front. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS, dual speakers and Bluetooth. Battery mAh details awaited.

The Micromax Canvas Fire 4G price has not yet been unveiled but it could be under ₹6,000. Lenovo A2010 has already been launched and using the same MediaTek MT6735M chipset with a price tag of ₹4,990.
