Twitter user MMXNewscaster has done it again this time they unveiled the Micromax Canvas A111. Though no confirmation yet from Micromax, but MMXNewscaster have already posted the ‘leaked’ images online.

The Micromas Canvas A111 is still in the rumored phase, there is no official confirmation yet. The Canvas A111 will come with a 5.3 inch screen with 960×540 pixel resolution. As per the leaked info the touch response has been improved such that you can even use it wearing gloves (Glove touch).

The handset is 9.9mm thick and looks like the magnetic sensor is missing; it does have the light, G-Sensor and proximity sensors though. The handset is powered by quad core processor unfortunately it seems like it will be the Qualcomm MSM8225Q processor. The RAM is 512MB and 4Gigs on internal storage.

The camera is 8MP on rear and a 1.2MP on the front. The rear camera is auto focus. The Canvas A111 runs on the Jelly Bean Android version 4.1 OS and will get power from a 2100 mAh battery. The handset also comes with 3D graphics accelerator.

You can check the leaked images, it seems like a prototype version – no MMX logo there even on the battery. So let’s keep the excitement level down unless we get an official confirmation. But I doubt if anyone would want to go with the Qualcomm processor. The price I guess should be well under Rs. 13,000 probably even less.

MSM8225Q Chipset Specs

  • Cortex A5.
  • Quad core 4×1.x GHz.
