The Micromax Canvas 3D also called the Micromax A115 comes powered by dual core processor with 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage. The handset sports a 5 inch screen with naked eye 3D support; it means you can watch 3D content without any special glasses.

Inside the box you will find the handset, 2000 mAh battery, data cable, travel charger, earphone, hookup guide, some download goodies, warranty statement and a user guide.

Design and Display
The dual SIM handset is bulky with a 11.9mm thickness and weight of about 168 grams. A115 has got a curvy looks with power button on right and volume rockers on the left. The rear side is matte finish. The micro USB port and the 3.5mm jack are placed on the top side with extra space bulging out, that looks odd. The built quality is good.

Entertainment
You can watch 720p videos in 3D. Probably you might want to use MX player but 3D effects will not work on that. 3D can only be enabled using the stock player.  Though 3D looked good I got fed up after watching the movie for about 5 minutes and then switched back to 2D (cause of Eye Strain).

Gaming
This is a dual core handset with same hardware found on the MMX A110. All the games that worked on the A110 will work on the A115. There are certain 3D games that you can download. Do note that you cannot download any game from Google play and expect it to work in 3D.

Others
The 3G, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi worked well without any issues. Sound is loud and clear.

Battery
The Battery of 2000 mAh looks good and gives a comfortable full day backup on a single charge.

Micromax Canvas 3D A115 review
The main USP is the 3D effects. It does look good for some time but may not be comfortable for many users. You need to maintain a proper distance and angle. If you are really keen and want that 3D option then go for it otherwise look out for some other options, you can get a quad core for the price.  If possible check the demo before buying just to make sure you are comfortable viewing 3D on the A115.
