Micromax has launched the Bolt S300 that will be available in India for Rs. 3,300. This handset is using the SC7715 Spreadtrum single core chipset with 3G support. Bolt S300 is running Android 4.4.3 out of the box.
Micromax Bolt S300 weighs about 123 grams and it is 11.2mm thick. This is a budget friendly smartphone running Android KitKat. As mentioned the S300 is using the Spreadtrum single core SC7715 processor with 512MB RAM and 4GB of internal storage.
The handset supports micro SD card of up to 32GB. The touch screen display is 4 inches (3.97 inch) supporting 800 x 480 pixels resolution. As far as the camera is concerned it is not that great, there are dual cameras – VGA camera on the rear and VGA camera on the front. These are fixed focus cameras.
Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The 1200 mAh removable battery gives up to 3.5 hours of talk time and about 150 hours of standby time. Micromax Bolt S300 is not yet listed on the official website but @MaheshTelecom has confirmed it’s availability for Rs. 3,300.
