Another budget phone shows up on Micromax website, the Micromax Bolt A58 with a smaller screen size of 3.5 inches running Android 4.2 with 1GHz dual core processor. Micromax A58 with double the power and probably with an affordable price tag.

Inside the hood the Micromax A58 houses a MTK6572M dual core chipset (1.3GHz) the same stuff that powers XOLO A500S, Micromax A74, Micromax A63 and so on. A58 Bolt runs on Android 4.2 with 512MB RAM and 512MB storage of which you can expect around 100MB free space for apps. In addition there is 32GB external storage support.

This is a budget phone and hence comes with 3.5 inch TFT screen with 480×320 pixels resolution (260K colors). Fortunately this dual SIM handset does support 3G, Wi-Fi (b/g/n) and Bluetooth 2.0.  And just like on the Micromax A63, GPS is missing. This handset includes the G-Sensor (only one sensor). There is a single fixed focus camera of 2 megapixel resolution on the rear with Flash support.

The Bolt A58 comes with 1200 mAh battery that gives a talk-time of up to 4 hours. The pricing details are not yet disclosed but you can expect it to be well under Rs. 5,500. I guess just like the MMX A74 this handset will also be available in different colors. MMX A58 does look attractive.
