Micromax all set to launch their first hexa core powered handset the Micromax A190, as per leaked info from MMXNewscaster. The A190 will be using the MediaTek MT6591 – 6 core chipset and will run Android KitKat out of the box.

A few days back the XOLO Play 6X 1000, XOLO’s first Hexa core was unveiled for Rs. 14,499 and now even Micromax will join the Hexa core bandwagon. Just like as seen on XOLO Play 6X 1000, Micromax is also offering 2GB RAM.

Micromax A190 is using the same processor the MediaTek 6 core MT6591 with KitKat OS over a 6.3 inch screen, now this is a big screen as compared to the Play 6X. There is 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and probably micro SD card support. Not much of the details have been revealed.

There is 13MP rear AF camera and 5MP on the front. Common features like 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth will be present. The screen resolution and the battery mAh capacity is not yet known. We could hear more about the A190 in coming days, stay tuned.

Update: MMXNewscaster has posted a new tweet that says. Screen is 5 inches with 720p resolution, RAM = 1GB, ROM = 8GB, battery is 2000 mAh, rear camera is 8MP, front camera is 2MP. it does run on Kitkat os.
