Here is the first smartphone from Micromax, the Unite 2 also called the Micromax A106 that runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 out of the box. This handset houses a 1.3GHz quad core process it’s MT6582M from MediaTek and supports 21 Indian regional languages.  It is priced at Rs. 6,999.

The Micromax Unite 2 is listed on the Micromax website, the price details however has not been revealed, the A106 Unite 2 price is Rs. 6,999 and it will be competing with the Moto E. As mentioned Kitkat 4.4.2 running on 1.3GHz MT6582M quad core chipset with Mali 400 GPU are the key highlight.

There is 1GB on-board RAM and 4GB storage. 1.67 GB is the internal storage space (of the 4GB storage) and 0.89GB is the space for apps. The screen is 4.7 inches IPS with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. This dual SIM handset comes with proximity and  accelerometer sensors.

Interestingly Micromax has managed to get an auto focus camera of 5MP on the rear with flash. There is 2MP front camera too. The rear camera can record HD (720p) videos. Key features are 3G, 2G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi and GPS with A-GPS support.

Micromax Unite 2 A106 quad core with KitKat launched

This Micromax Unite 2 handset comes with a 2000 mAh battery that gives up to 8 hours of talk-time and up to 190 hours of standby time.

Micromax Unite 2 A106 is official, will be available soon for Rs. 6,999.
