At the Redmi Note 3 launch event, Xiaomi also showcased couple of other products – Mi Ninebot Mini, Bluetooth speakers, Mi TV, Air Purifier and Yeelight Lamp. Bluetooth speaker will be launched in India for ₹1,999. No word about when the other products will be officially launched in India.
Media personals and Fans got to experience range of products at the launch event, the key attraction was the Mi Ninebot Mini. This is a self balancing scooter that is pretty sensitive and amazing, i.e. once you get used to it. It might take few minutes to get used to, a little bit of training is required (basically the art of balancing/leaning). You can ride it or control it using your smartphone (via Bluetooth).
We also got to see the Mi TV in action though the content was still in Chinese, and is the reason why Mi TV has not yet been launched in India. The company is still working to get Indian content on this Smart Mi TV.
Then there was the air purifier, which was active, working quietly at the corner though many of them hardly noticed it.
Yeelight Lamp was another interesting device – this is a Bluetooth controlled night lamp. You can change the colour as per your need (select from 16 million colours). To change colour use smartphone or simply touch and slide on the top.
Mi Bluetooth Speakers were also showcased, in fact this will be launched in India in attractive colour options during the Holi festive season for price tag of ₹1,999.
