Xiaomi today launched the most awaited unique looking phone – Mi Mix 2 in Beijing, China. This handset comes with a full screen display, the company made it even better, better than the Mi Mix. Price starts from RMB 3299 (approx Rs. 32K).

Mi Mix 2 comes with hidden speakers and proximity sensor using ultrasonic technology there by pushing the screen right up to the top. This new Mix 2 has a 12% smaller chin compared with the Mi Mix.

Mix 2 features a 18:9 full screen display, and using ultra slim aluminium frame. The front camera is at the bottom just like as seen on the Mi Mix, but now comes with super black lens coating that makes the front camera somewhat invisible.

This smartphone is beautifully designed, 4 sided curved ceramic body, it’s beautiful, looks unique and is durable. The camera on the rear comes with 18K gold plated rim. On camera on the back is using SONY IMX386 sensor with 4 axis optical image stabilization – same as used on the Mi 6.

Mi Mix 2 comes with 50mW high power speaker with sound guiding tube (sound resonates through metal frame and delivered though the screen).

The company also launched a special edition Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 with full ceramic unibody – 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM for RMB 4699 (approx Rs. 46,000).
