Meizu today at an event in China launched the Meizu MX6 smartphone that houses the X20 deca core chipset and packed with 4GB RAM. MX6 price in China is RMB 1999 that comes to approx Rs. 20K.

Display and SOC

MX6 handset (successor to the Meizu MX5) comes with a 5.5 inch LCD screen supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. Inside the hood there is the MediaTek Helio X20 (10 core – Deca Core) 64 bit processor clocked at 2.3Ghz coupled with Mali T880 GPU.

Memory, Storage and OS

Meizu MX6 smartphone comes with a good 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage space. Micro SD card slot is missing. FlyMe OS 5.5 over android Marshmallow 6.0 sails out of the box.

Camera

Primary camera on the Meizu MX6 is of 12MP (f/2.0 aperture) resolution with dual tone LED flash support. Its IMX386 SONY sensor with PDAF (phase detection auto focus) and 4K recording capabilities. Front facing camera is of 5MP resolution (fixed focus wide angle with f.2.0 aperture).

Other features and battery

Meizu MX6 supports 4G with Voice over LTE, WiFi dual band, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 and finger print sensor on the front. There is a USB Type C port to charge 3060 mAh battery. MX6 weight with battery is 155 grams and thickness is 7.2mm.

MX6 Price in China

Meizu MX6 will be available in China in Pink, Gray, Gold and Silver colour options for RMB 1999. No word about its launch in India, probably after 2 months.
