The world first real Octa Core processor Mediatek MT6592 benchmark scores are out. A prototype model with Octa core chipset ran the AntuTu benchmark app and scored 25,496 points.
The AntuTu score is too less as compared with other high end handsets like Galaxy Note 3 (31K), Xperia Z Ultra (29K) and HTC One (26K) to name a few. However this prototype handset with the MT6592 chipset was clocked at 1.7GHz that was the lowest frequency. The GPU was Mali 450 with 1GB RAM and 720p HD display.
According to MediaTek the MT6592 chipset can be clocked up to 2GHz that could probably boost the scores to somewhere around 30K. So what is your take on this?
