LG at IFA 2017 announced their flagship smartphone the LG V30. This handset is powered by SD 835 octa core processor, comes with OLED screen with QHD resolution, looks great and using dual cameras on the back.
LG V30 comes with a 6 inch screen and it takes up most of the area on the front (aspect ratio 18:9) if you look at the image below. The screen comes with Gorilla Glass 5 Protection and it’s an OLED display with 2880 x 1440 pixels resolution.
Android Nougat 7.1.2 runs out of the box along with LG UX 6.0+. There are two unique things that come packed on the LG V30 – one is the always on listing capabilities (voice recognition support by Qualcomm Aqstic technology) and face recognition feature for unlocking (face unlock).
Inside the hood there is Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa core processor coupled with Adreno 540 GPU. Coming to RAM and ROM, this handset is packed with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM and comes with optional 64GB / 128GB storage space.
LG V30 weight is 158 grams and its is 7.3mm thick. Handset is IP68 certified – water & dust resistant and does come with finger print sensor. Other features are Hi Fi Quad DAC. V30 supports VoLTE, NFC, GPS, WiFi, USB Type C and Bluetooth 5.0.
There are two cameras on the rear – a 16MP with f/1.6 aperture and 13MP with f/1.9 aperture. Front camera is 5MP. Camera features OIS, EIS, Laser AF, PDAF. LG V30 gets power from a 3300 mAh battery. Fast charging (Quick Charge 3.0) is supported and so is wireless charging.
