LG will soon launch their Optimus true HD LTE handset in Asia. The HD LTE supports the 4G network, comes with an 8 MP camera and with a full touchscreen display. Full HD video recording is possible and there many other impressive features that this handset comes loaded with.

The LG Optimus true HD was first released in Korea followed by Canada, US and Japan. Now this handset will find its way into the Asian markets including India. This device comes loaded with gingerbread (android 2.3 OS), outdated, but can be upgradable to ICS (Android 4.0).

A quick look at the specifications: Optimus true HD LTE sails on a dual core 1.5 GHz processor with 1 GB RAM. There is a built in 4 GB internal memory some reserved for the system and some available for the users. Extra storage can be increased using the microSD slot (max 32 GB).

As mentioned this handset will support the 4G network and is also backward compatible with 3G and 2G networks, in case you have not yet subscribed to the 4G networks. There are 2 cameras a front facing 1.3 MP and a rear high end at 8 MP with LED flash and with different camera modes. Full HD video recording is possible.

The True HD IPS display screen is 4.5 inches supporting an amazing resolution of 1280 by 720 pixels. Other features are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, TV tunner, common sensors and multi format media player. This LG handset weighs 135 grams and is 10.5 mm thin. The 1830 mAh battery powers the unit.
