LG is gearing up to showcase 3 new Optimus L series android handsets at MWC (Mobile World Congress). LG has now disclosed that its new L series handsets namely the L3, L5 and L7 will be the center of attraction at MWC. These handsets are rectangular shaped, slim and have feature like back cover.

Another interesting feature is the FMT (Floating Mass Technology) display. When you look at the display screen it appears to be floating on the surface.

LG Optimus L3

This handset sports a 3.2 inch touchscreen display and comes loaded with gingerbread OS (Android 2.3). A 1500 mAh high capacity battery powers the L3 android handset. The Optimus L3 will initially be launched in Europe in March 2012.

LG Optimus L5

The L5 comes with a slightly larger touchscreen (4 inches) and runs the latest android 4.0 OS a.k.a Ice Cream Sandwich.  This handset will first hit the European market by mid 2012.

LG Optimus L7

This one also comes with the android 4.0 OS and a 4.3 inch touchscreen display. Just like the L5 the L7 should flood the European markets by 1st half of 2012.

These handsets will take their own time before they reach India. For now stay tuned for more updates and watch out for the LG L series making wave at the MWC next week.
