The LG Optimus G pro model E988 with a 5.5 inch FHD screen and powered by quad core 1.7GHz processor will be available for Rs. 42,500. The handset will hit retail and online stores within few weeks.
The Optimus G pro will compete with Galaxy Note 2 though Note 2 is cheaper with lower specs as compared, however Samsung is gearing up to launch the Galaxy Note 3 probably in 2013. The LG Optimus G pro supports single SIM and runs on the Android 4.1 OS with Optimus 3.0 UI.
This handset is powered by Snapdragon 600 1.7GHz quad core processor coupled with Adreno 320 GPU. It is a big handset but pretty slim with 9.4mm thickness and weight is about 174 grams. The screen is 5.5 inches protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2. The IPS screen resolution is 1920×1080 pixels.
