The LG Optimus 3D P920 running on the Android 2.2 Froyo will be available in India, pretty soon. The LG Optimus 3D P920 houses a dual core 1 GHz processor with a 4.3 inch touch screen with 3D capabilities and a 5 megapixel camera with flash. Features are good but this handset is way overpriced.
The main highlight of course is the 3G feature that LG Optimus 3D P920 is all about. If the Android 2.2 which this handset comes loaded with is bothering you then let me tell you it is upgradable to the Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Go through the LG Optimus 3D P920 features which are quite impressive especially the 3D part however when you check the price, the excitement seems not worth it.
LG Optimus 3D P920 Features
The Optimus 3D is the first to launch a 3D smartphone in India. With this smartphone you will be able to view and even record videos in 3D without having to wear those 3D glasses. Well the surprise does not end here. The LG 3D P920 also supports 3D Augmented Reality (AR) browser but this does not come pre-installed, you will need to download it for free from LGWorld.
Hardware and Display
The P920 is powered by the 1 GHz dual core processor (ARM Cortex-A9) and PowerVR SGX540 Graphics. OS used is a bit outdated i.e. Android 2.2, but can be upgradable to Gingerbread 2.3.
The LCD capacitive touchscreen display is 4.3 inches supporting resolution WVGA @ 480×800 pixels with 16 million colours. The LG Optimus 3D is of 68×128.8×11.9mm dimension and weighs 168 grams.
Camera
LG 3D P920 houses a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash. You can shoot videos in HD and full HD mode. Other camera features are auto focus, geo tagging and Stereoscopic photos. Apart from the primary camera there is a secondary camera for making video calls.
Memory
8 GB of internal storage memory and 512 MB RAM comes built in on the LG Optimus 3D with micro SD support up to 32 GB.
Connectivity
LG Optimus 3D is a 3G phone with GPRS and EDGE supported. Other connectivity options are USB, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.1 and Wi-Fi hotspot tethering.
Audio and Video
The LG Optimus 3D P920 can play MP3, WAV, eAAC+ audio files and MP4, DivX, XviD, H.264, H.263, WMV video files. There is a HDMI port to connect with HDTV, so you can watch phone content on high definition TV. Audio Jack 3.5mm is also present.

This handset houses Accelerometer sensor, Gyro sensor, Digital Compass and Proximity sensor. Voice input and full flash 10.1 also supported. Not to mention you get access to host of Google services and Android market place to download additional apps.
