LG has launched their next handset in the G Series – it’s the LG G4. This handset is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa core processor and it comes loaded with 3GB RAM. G4 will be available in Korean market for KRW 825,000 that comes to approx Rs. 49,000.

As mentioned the G4 houses the 808 qualcomm snapdragon 1.8GHz Hexa Core CPU (cortex A57) with X10 LTE support and coupled with Adreno 418 GPU. There is 3GB RAM, 32GB storage and micro SD card support, device supports up to 2TB external storage (OTG). This handset weighs about 155 grams and thickness is 9.8mm. There is a Nano SIM slot with 4G LTE support. G4 is running Android Lollipop 5.1 out of the box.

It is a quad HD screen (2560 x 1440 pixels resolution) of size 5.5 inches protected with corning gorilla glass 4. On the camera part the LG G4 comes loaded with 16 megapixel camera (f/1.8 aperture) with Laser auto focus and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) features. There is dual tone LED flash support for the rear camera. The front camera is of 8MP resolution – perfect for selfies. 4K video recording and playback is supported.

Hexa core powered LG G4

Additional features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS with GLONASS, NFC, IR, Stereo FM radio, HDMI SlimPort(4K) and Bluetooth 4.1. G4 gets power from a 3000 mAh battery with Qi wireless charging support. On a single charge the handset will give up to 20 hours of talk time on 3G networks.

LG G4 has got a slightly curved body with power button / volume rocker placed on the rear. The body is made of plastic but the back panel looks really great. No word about its launch in India but expect it to be priced at around Rs. 50K.
