LG’s latest innovation the LG G Flex curved handset that is slightly flexible is now available in India for a not-so-flexible price tag of Rs. 69,490. The handset is currently listed on Infibeam.
The LG G Flex no doubt is powerful with impressive features specially the slightly flexible body, curved architecture and the self healing technology. But the price tag of Rs. 69K seems too much. The back cover is scratch resistant and minor scratch that it might get will automatically self heal and disappear.
G Flex is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor its quad core @ 2.26GHz. Handset runs on Jelly Bean 4.2.2 with 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Handset weight is about 177 grams and thickness is 8.7mm.
It’s a Phablet with a 6 inch P-OLED screen supporting resolution of 1280×720 pixels with 16M colors. A 2.1MP camera is placed on the front and a 13MP AF on the back. FHD video recording is supported. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS with A-GPS/GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and a video slimport.
The Li-po battery is 3500 mAh with over 9 hours of talk-time (up to 13 hours on 3G). The LG G Flex is available on Infibeam for Rs. 69,490 with 1% off (approx Rs. 500 off) uh… if that really makes any difference.
