Lenovo has launched the S60 handset that is listed on their official thedostore for Rs. 12,999. This is a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad core powered handset with 4G support running KitKat with Vibe UI.

The Lenovo S60 is a dual SIM handset (Nano + Micro SIM slots) running Android 4.4.x out of the box with Vibe UI 2.0. It houses the qualcomm snapdragon 64 bit MSM8916 quad core processor clocked at 1.2GHz. This handset sports a 5 inch IPS screen with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Surprisingly the Lenovo A6000 and the A6000 plus is also using the same hardware (64 bit  Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 quad core).

S60 is packed with 2GB RAM, 8GB storage and micro SD card slot that supports up to 32GB external storage. Also included is a 13MP auto focus camera with LED flash on the back and a 5MP fixed focus camera on the front.

Other features on the S60 are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi (b/g/n), GPS with A-GPS support, FM radio and Bluetooth 4.0. The 2150 mAh Li-Po non-removable battery gives up to 16 hours of talk time on 3G networks.
