Lenovo has rolled out their K3 (K30-T) handset in China for CNY 599 that comes to approx Rs. 6000. It is a quad core powered handset using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset and sports a 5 inch screen with HD resolution.
At this price and at these specifications the Lenovo K3 is here to compete with the Xiaomi Redmi 1S but it hardly matters now, the Redmi 1S sales are already over, however it is still a very good hardware for the price. K3 as mentioned is using the Qualcomm snapdragon quad core 410 chipset MSM9815 ARM Cortex A-53 (28nm) coupled with Adreno 306 GPU clocked at 400MHz.
The handset comes with 8MP rear AF camera with flash and a 2MP front camera. There is 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and micro SD card support. The IPS screen is 5inches supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.
Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS, Wave MaxxAudio technology and Bluetooth. The handset runs Android Kitkat with Vibe UI. This handset is getting powered from a 2300 mAh battery.
The Lenovo K3 is available in China for CNY 599, no word about the launch in India.
