Lenovo has made their next handset the Golden Warrior A8 official. They have announced this MediaTek Octa Core powered handset with 4G support. It will be made available in China for approx $130. There is no word about if and when the Warrior A8 will be roll out globally.

The Lenovo Golden Warrior A8 is low cost octa core powered handset. It is using the MediaTek MT6592 octa core chipset that is coupled with MT6290 LTE modem for 4G support. The back panel looks more like the leather finish as seen on the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

This handset will be available in different colours (Black, White, Pink and Gold) staring from $130. The Warrior A8 sports a 5 inch screen supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Just like the other octa core handsets the A8 also comes with 13MP rear AF camera with BSI sensors and a 5 MP on the front. The rear camera is with dual LED flash support.

The handset comes with 16GB ROM and 2GB RAM, it runs KitKat (Android 4.4.2) out of the box along with Vibe UI 2.0. It will be great if Lenovo plans to launch the Golden Warrior A8 in India for under Rs. 15K (probably even cheaper).
