At CES 2015, Lenovo announced the A6000 smartphone with 4G LTE support priced at $169. They will launch the same on Flipkart probably this month with a price tag of under Rs. 10K, competing with Redmi and Yureka.
Lenovo was planning to launch a low budget 4G smartphone and the closest match was the Lenovo K3, but now it is the A6000 that will be made available. This handset sports a 5 inch screen with HD (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution.
It is powered by qualcomm snapdragon 410 quad core processor – it’s 64 Bit clocked at 1.2GHz with Adreno 306 GPU. Lenovo A6000 comes with dual SIM slots. It is running Android 4.4.4 (+ Vibe UI 2.0) with 1Gigs of RAM and 8Gigs of internal storage. There is no info about the micro SD card slot.
A6000 is light weight at 128 grams and is 8.2mm thick. The handset also comes packed with a 2MP front facing camera and an 8MP rear facing camera. Additional features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS.
Lenovo A6000 gets power from a 2300 mAh battery. Currently announced at CES for $169 and will hit the Indian stores (online exclusively on Flipkart) for a price tag of under Rs. 10K.
