The first Lenovo A7000 flash sale saw 30,000 units selling out within 4 seconds. The company is now planning to release the Lenovo A6000 Plus handset in India, the price has not yet been disclosed. The A6000 Plus will be an upgraded variant of the popular Lenovo A6000.
The company may either continue selling the A6000 along with A6000 Plus or probably stop the sales of A6000 and make the A6000 Plus more competitive when it comes to pricing. If you sum up the Lenovo A6000 and the Lenovo A6000 Plus is almost the same expect for the RAM and ROM that has been enhanced.
So on the Lenovo A6000 plus you will get 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The older A6000 came with 1GB RAM and 8GB storage. The other specifications are the same, it’s 64 bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad core powered smartphone sporting a 5 inch screen with 720p resolution. Handset is running Android KitKat with Vibe UI.
There is 8MP rear AF camera and 2MP front camera. Key features are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The A6000 plus will also get power from a 2300 mAh battery.
If you compare the A6000 and the A6000 plus (performance wise) there will hardly be any difference, except that you will be able to multi-task better and you will be getting more internal storage space.
Let’s wait and see what Lenovo will price the A6000 Plus at. The company might probably price it at Rs. 6,999 or a little more, but price will definitely be lower than Rs. 8,999.
