Lenovo has unveiled 4 new tablets namely the Lenovo A10-70, Lenovo A8-50, Lenovo A7-30 and The A7-50. These tablets will be made available in Q2 – 2014. All of the A-Series tablets will be powered by quad core processor running on Android OS.
The Lenovo A10-70 sports a 10 inch screen with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. It houses the MTK 8121/8382 quad core chipset clocked at 1.3GHz. This tab runs on Android 4.2. There are dual cameras a 5MP AF on the rear and 2MP on the front. Key features are optional 3G, WiFi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, Dolby Digital Plus with dual front speakers. The A10-70 comes with a 6300 mAh battery.
Lenovo A8-50 shows off an 8 inch screen with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. It is also powered by the same processor that is used on the A10-70 tablet (1.3GHz quad core). This tab weighs about 360 grams and is 8.9mm thick. There is a 5MP AF rear camera + 2MP front camera. Key features are optional 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, Dual front speakers with Dolby Digital Plus sound technology. The Lenovo A8-50 comes with 4200 mAh battery.
Lenovo A7-30 weighs 340 grams with a 10.7mm thickness. This tab sports a 7 inch screen with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. It is powered by MT8382 1.3Ghz quad core chipset running Android 4.2. There is 2MP rear camera and VGA front camera. Key features are 2G, (3G via dongle), Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, Dolby Digital plus with dual front speakers. The battery is 3500 mAh capacity.
Lenovo A7-50 is powered by 1.3GHz quad core MT8382 processor running Android 4.2 over a 7 inch screen with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution. There are dual cameras of 2MP resolution each placed on the front and rear. Key features are optional 3G, Bluetooth, WiFi, dual speakers and Dolby Digital Plus. Battery is 3500 mAh capacity.
No word as to when the tabs will be made available in India or the price.
