Lenovo will be launching a 4G LTE enabled smartphone with an aggressive price tag in India. The company announced this today, though they have not mentioned the model or the specifications. The handset could compete with Micromax Yureka, Redmi Note etc.
Most likely it could be the Lenovo K3 that was launched in China. The handset is powered by qualcomm snapdragon 410 quad core processor with LTE support. The K3 is powered by cortex A53 chipset with Adreno 306 GPU. It will sport a 5 inch screen with HD resolution and will be running KitKat with Vibe UI.
The Lenovo K3 will come packed with 1GB RAM, 16GB storage and micro SD card support. There is 8MP rear camera with flash and 2MP front camera. Check the review of Huawei Honor 4 Play that I just uploaded it is also using a 64 bit processor, just to get an idea about the performance.
Key features of K3 are 4G, 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. The handset comes with 2300 mAh battery and was launched in China for CNY 599.
Lenovo has already hinted at a 4G enabled smartphone with aggressive pricing, most likely it could be the Lenovo K3 with a price tag of under Rs. 8,000.
