Lava Mobiles is gearing up to launch a Jelly Bean 4.2 powered tablet for under Rs. 10,000. The Etab Xtron was a huge success; it has given more confidence to the company to take a step forward to launch yet another tablet with good specifications and hopefully with an affordable price tag.

The upcoming tablet (the model name has not been disclosed), will be powered by a dual core processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It will run on the Android 4.2 OS with 1GB RAM. The internal storage space is 8GB with micro SD card slot for adding additional external storage space.

What we know for now is that the Jelly Bean 4.2 powered upcoming tablet will come with 2 megapixel camera on the rear plus a front VGA camera. Other common features like 3G support via external dongle, Wi-Fi, micro USB and 3.5mm audio jack will be included. There will be an HDMI port too. The screen size is not mentioned but it could be over 7 inches. The company had recently launched the lava Etab connect with voice support for under Rs. 9,000.
