Lava Mobiles today at an event in Delhi launched a new handset in the Fuel series, called the Lava Iris Fuel 60. This handset comes with a 4000 mAh battery. It runs Android 4.4 and will be upgradable to android L. The Fuel 60 is priced at Rs. 8,888. It is a dual SIM handset powered by the well known 1.3GHz MediaTek quad core processor with Mali 400 MP GPU. The Lava Iris Fuel 60 as the name suggests is made to deliver dual performance, in terms of speed and battery backup. Android KitKat runs out of the box with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage and 32GB micro SD card slot.

Lava Mobiles have mentioned that the Fuel 60 will get the Android L update. The screen is 5 inches IPS screen with corning gorilla glass 3 protection and supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. In terms of camera there is a 10MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP on the front.

Handset is using zero soldering technology. Key features are 3G, 2G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Double tap to wake up and gestures are also supported. Now the battery, it is a 4000 mAh that will give double the battery backup and can be fully charged in about 3 hours 15 minutes.

Lava Iris Fuel 60 launched for Rs. 8888

The Lava Iris Fuel 60 will be available in the market online and offline for Rs. 8,888 from 25th December 2014.  Lava keen in making products in India – ‘Make in India’. They will start their first unit in Noida somewhere in March 2015 and later expand in other states.
