After the success of the Lava Iris 504q, Lava Mobiles have launched another variant the Lava Iris 504q+ that comes powered by 1.3GHz quad core processor and loaded with a 10MP rear camera with Sony EXMOR RS sensor with 1.4µm aperture.

When compared with the Iris 504q the 504q+ houses a different hardware. The 504q+ is using the MediaTek 1.3GHz quad core processor coupled with Mali 400 GPU @ 500 MHz. This handset comes with a 5 inch screen with Asahi Dragontrail glass protection, it’s IPS, OGS with full lamination and supports resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.

Dual SIM Lava Iris 504q+ weight is 149 grams and is 7.9mm thick. It runs on Android 4.2.2 and the press release does not specifically mentions anything about KitKat update. There is 1GB on-board RAM and 8GB storage + micro SD card support of up to 32GB.

The rear BSI camera is of 10MP resolution; it’s using the EXMOR RS sensor (1.4µm aperture). The front camera is 2MP. There is single LED flash support for the rear camera. Rear camera supports HDR, panorama and can shoot 1080p videos.

quad core Lava Iris 504q+

Key highlights are 3G (21Mbps), WiFi (b/g/n), Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS with A-GPS support. The battery is Li-po of 2000mAh capacity with standby time of up to 200 hours. Lava Iris 504q+ will hit the stores soon, available in Silver and Grey color options and of course will come with intelligent flip cover for a price tag for Rs. 13,990.
