Lava Mobile’s new 1.3GHz dual core smartphone the Lava Iris 450 Colour is now listed on their official website. This dual SIM, dual band smartphone sports a 4.5 inch IPS screen running Android 4.2 with 512MB RAM. It will be available in different colour options from back panels to earphones. Lava had also launched the Iris pro 20 premium handset and gearing up to launch some more models.

Lava had already revealed the Iris 450 Colour on Facebook, and as of now the specifications and other details have been updated on their website. This handset houses a 1.3GHz dual core processor (MediaTek) with Mali 400 GPU running stock android 4.2.

There is 512MB RAM and 4Gigs of internal storage plus micro SD card slot that supports 32GB external cards. The 450 Colour handset weight is 136 grams with battery and thickness is 10.5mm. The handset has got a very classy look and available in different colors.

The touch screen is 4.5 inches (IPS) with resolution FWVGA (854 x  480 pixels). The 450 Colour also includes a 5 megapixel camera on the rear and VGA camera on the front. The rear camera comes with LED flash support and can record HD videos, however it is just a fixed focus camera.

Lava Iris 450 COLOUR dual core smartphone

Additional features are GPS with A-GPS, 3G, 2G (EDGE, GPRS), Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi (b/g/n). There is built in FM radio with recording. This dual SIM handset comes with 1800 mAh battery that gives a talk-time of up to 8 hours on 3G, 9 hours on 2G networks.

The Lava Iris 450 Colour price has not yet been disclosed but looking at the specifications it will be well under Rs. 10,000 – probably in the range of 6K to 8K.
