Kodak has announced professional quality, photography first Smartphone called the Kodak Ektra. This Smartphone comes with 21MP camera with intuitive Touchscreen DSLR dial and it can shoot 4K videos. Ektra is powered by Deca Core processor.

The Ektra houses the MediaTek Helio X20 deca core processor clocked at 2.3GHz coupled with Mali T880 MP4 GPU. It is running Android Marshmallow out of the box with 3GB on board RAM and 32GB of internal storage. There is micro SD card support of up to 128GB.
Kodak Ektra sports a 5 inch screen with gorilla glass protection and supporting 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD) resolution. A 21 MP camera is packed on the back with dual LED flash. It’s using a SONY IMX230 sensor with 6 axis OIS and f/2.0 aperture. Front camera can shoot in 13MP resolution.
The 21MP camera comes with customizable manual mode with adjustable shutter/ ISO, horizontal two step shutter release and extensive scene mode selection. Users can also edit photos with snapseed.
Other features are 4G LTE, 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi 2.4GHz, BT 4.1 and USB Type C port. The Kodak Ektra houses a 3000 mAh battery with fast charging capabilities.
The Kodak Ektra is expected to hit the European markets by December with a price tag of €499 – approx Rs. 37K.
