Good news for Moto users this includes Moto G, Moto X and the latest Moto E too. Motorola will be rolling out the Android KitKat 4.4.3 update on these handsets within few days /weeks. The new update will come with new features, bug fixes and enhancements.
The KitKat update is basically targeted at the Moto G that will most likely get the update first. Motorola has also addressed the issues found on Moto G and it should be performing well with Android 4.4.3.
KitKat 4.4.3 will be more stable, will give a better battery life and comes with security fixes. If you have used the Moto G and tried shooting a video you might have noticed that there was no pause button, but now with the latest updates you will be able to pause the video and resume recording when needed.
Phone dialer has been improved, it got a new graphical look and colours. Motorola Alert app can also be downloaded (supported in 4.4.3). With the alert app, the handset will send periodic alerts to selected contacts (along with the current location).
When the update is available you will get a notification. You can also check the same in settings, about phone and tap system updates. All you need to do is download and then install the update. For any software updates make sure the battery level is over 70% and preferably use Wi-Fi for downloading.
