Intex Mobiles have launched another Android KitKat powered handset for an affordable price of Rs. 7,290. The Aqua Curve Mini houses the 1.3GHz quad core processor. In fact many manufacturers are launching KitKat based handsets or are providing KitKat updates on some of their older devices.

The good news is that handset with KitKat is getting affordable but it will be advisable to check the RAM, internal storage, battery, screen size / resolution and the price. The Curve Mini probably houses the MediaTek quad core processor with Mali 400 GPU that is being used on many handsets.

Screen is 4.5 inches with 854 x 480 pixels resolution (FWVGA). This is a dual SIM handset with 3G + 2G support. The Curve Mini comes with good RAM of 1GB and internal storage space of 4GB. There is micro SD card support to add more storage space of up to 32GB.

This Intex handset also comes packed with 2MP fixed focus camera on the front and auto focus camera of 8MP resolution on the rear with flash. HDR, Live Photo, beauty shot etc are supported. I believe it can also record videos in 1080p resolution.

Other common features are 3G, Wi-Fi, 2G, GPS with A-GPS and Bluetooth. Battery is 1500mAh that seems quiet less when compared with other handsets loaded with similar specifications.

The Intex Aqua Curve Mini running KitKat (4.4.2) out of the box is price at Rs. 7,290 and will soon be available online and in retail stores across India.
