How to use the Kingston DataTraveler 2000 secure Pen Drive

Before plugging in you need to unlock the USB Pendrive, to unlock press the lock button and once you see a red light on top near the USB point, punch in the password – default password is 11223344 and then punch the lock button again. If password is correct then you will see the green led lighting up.

Once you see the green led, plug in the USB Pendrive into the USB port on your PC and you will be able to access the content. When done simply remove the Pendrive and this secure USB drive will automatically lock itself.

Since this drive comes with built in battery that also powers the security system that the drive houses. It needs to be charged. This drive will automatically charge itself when it is connected to a PC.
