Karbonn Mobiles today launched 3 new handsets – the Karbonn Titanium Hexa, Karbonn Titanium Octane and the Karbonn Titanium Octane Plus. All of these handsets are priced well under Rs. 18,000.

The Karbonn Titanium Hexa that we covered before is a 1.5GHz Hexa core (6 core) powered handset that will be available for Rs. 16,990. The Titanium Octane will be priced at Rs. 14,490 and the Octane Plus will be the costliest at Rs. 17,990.

The Karbonn Titanium Octane is a 1.7GHz octa core powered smartphone; it is using the MT6592 chipset running Android 4.4 Kitkat with 1GB RAM and 16GB storage + micro SD card support. In addition there is 13MP rear AF camera and front 5MP camera. Key features are 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS and Bluetooth. Battery is 2000 mAh. Octane with a 5 inch screen and HD resolution is priced at Rs. 14,490 – looks too tempting.

Karbonn Titanium Octane and Titanium Octane plus

The Karbonn Titanium Octane plus houses the same hardware but with some spiced up features. There is 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and of course the 32GB external card support. The rear camera on the plus is 16MP and front camera is 8MP. Battery is the same at 2000 mAh capacity, however the 5 inch screen is with full HD resolution (1920 x 1080p). Common features like the 3G, GPS, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi are included. Octane plus is priced at Rs. 17,990.

As for now there are good numbers of  octa core powered handsets available in the market, the Hexa core is something new and Karbonn has already started the Hexa trend.
