Karbonn Mobiles has introduced a new handset called the Karbonn K9 Viraat. This dual SIM smartphone though powered by quad core processor and running Marshmallow, supports 3G networks.

K9 Viraat as mentioned sails on Android Marshmallow version 6.0 with 1GB RAM and 8GB ROM, plus external micro SD card support of up to 64GB. Inside the hood the K9 Viraat houses a quad core MediaTek processor (32 bit) clocked at 1.3GHz.
Handset weight is 173 grams and thickness is 11.7mm. Touch screen is of size 5.5 inches IPS display supporting 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. Also included is a primary camera of 5MP resolution and secondary camera of 2MP resolution. Rear camera is AF whereas front camera is FF, and rear camera does come with flash support.
Other features are 3G, 2G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth. The Karbonn K9 Viraat handset gets power from a 2800 mAh Li-ion battery.
