Jio has come up with an exciting offer on the iPhone 8 and the 8 Plus. Now when you pre-book these phones from Reliance Jio you will get 70% buyback and if you use citi bank cards then you can get Rs. 10,000 cashback – terms and conditions apply.

Now this Jio offers on iPhone 8 may look quite tempting but these are long term offers which means you will not get the benefit immediately except for the Rs. 10,000 cashback when using Citi cards. What about this 70% buyback, well say you pre-order the iPhone 8 or the 8 Plus from Reliance Digital Store or the Jio com site or MyJio app you will get 70 percent buyback. This buyback means that if you return the handset after a year you can get up to 70% of the value (now this excludes the taxes).

For example the iPhone 8 that is priced at Rs. 86K will be around Rs. 75K (minus the taxes) and in case you use citi card you get Rs. 10,000 cashback so in all the handset will cost you around Rs. 65K. The 70% will be calculated on the effective price, i.e. around Rs. 65K, that comes to around Rs. 45K. This is the amount you will get for sure in form of voucher when you return the iPhone after 1 year.

Jio offers on iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus - Rs. 10,000 cashback and 70% buyback

The voucher that you will get from Reliance can be used for buying your next iPhone or you can use it to purchase any product from Reliance Digital Store.

This is good in case you want to use the iPhone 8 and would not mind jumping to iPhone 9 when that is launched so you get a good 70% from the effective price you paid and you will just need to invest a little extra to get the new iPhone next year also assuming there will be new offers from Jio for the same at that time.

Apart from this  Jio is also offering Rs. 799 plan for Apple iPhone 8 and Apple iPhone 8 Plus users wherein they get 90GB data (plan validity is 28 days).

So how did you like this iPhone 8/8 Plus offer from Jio, does it make sense?
