Intex mobiles have now launched the Intex iBuddy tablet that sports a 7 inch screen, 1GHz processor with ICS. This is a low cost tablet with a price tag of Rs. 6,490.
Intex started their tablet journey with their first tab called Intex i-Tab with an 8 inch touchscreen display. The specifications of the new tab are similar to the other low cost tabs available in Indian markets. A 1GHz processor with Mali 400 GPU clocked at 350MHz, 512MB DDR3 Ram, 4 Gigs of internal storage and micro SD card support of up to 32GB. The Chipset is BoxChip A13 and performance is better than the A10 chipset, both are Allwinner brand.
The touchscreen (5 point multi-touch) display screen is at 7 inches with standard resolution of 800×480 pixels. The tab weighs 316 grams with 9mm thickness. Being a low cost tab there is no built in 3G but external dongle is supported.
The Intex iBuddy comes with preloaded games like Fruit Ninja, Angry Birds and many others. Additional features are Wi-Fi, mini USB and 3.5 mm jack. This tablet comes with 2350 mAh battery (Li-po) with usage time of up to 3 hours. The Intex iBuddy 7 inch is priced at Rs. 6,490 with one year warranty.
