Intex mobiles has launched the Intex Aqua Style a 5.9 inch Phablet powered by dual core processor with 512MB RAM and running on the ICS OS. The handset supports dual SIM with 3G and is priced at Rs. 11,200.

Not only do the specifications look similar to the Karbonn A30 handset that also sports a 5.9 inch screen but even the design is also almost identical. And should I say even the price is close by, Aqua Style for 11,200 and A30 for Rs. 11,400.

The Intex Aqua Style sports a 5.9 inch (5.88”) capacitive touchscreen display with WVGA resolution (800×480 pixels). It’s a dual SIM dual Standby phone with 3G + 2G supported. The dual core processor I believe is the same MT6577 clocked at 1GHz with the PowerVR SGX 531 GPU.

RAM is 512MB and internal storage is 4GB. There are dual cameras a 1.3MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera. Videos can be recorded in 720p mode (HD) and you can also video videos in 720p resolution. 1080p video playback is not supported.

The Aqua Style is 11mm thick and weighs 228 grams. Other features are 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS, micro USB, Bluetooth and 3.5mm jack. The battery of 2500 mAh gives a talktime of up to 3 hours and standby time of about 100 hours.
